The website was launched on 16th June, 2008 by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy at his Camp Office in Hyderabad.The idea of the online portal has come from the Book
“THE VISION OF A VISIONARY” by myself. Inspired by Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy’s untiring efforts for the upliftment of poor and needy. I made a pictorial and made it into a website. The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Dr. Reddy concentrated more on the common man and their needs. The Messiah of the poor has introduced so many welfare schemes and Irrigation projects that are directly beneficial to the poor and needy. The Book was released by Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy on 10th March, 2008 at the State Legislative Assembly.

The website is about what Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy is striving to achieve for the people of Andhra Pradesh and I am trying to show the world the development of Andhra Pradesh under Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.

From the beginning I was involved in Social Service, may be it is in the family. My Grandfather Sri. Anantha Swamy is a Freedom Fighter he was one of the three suicide squad members from the Andhra Pradesh to fight against the British Rule, luckily for us he is still going strong at 97. My mother is also involved into Red Cross Society.

I started as the member of the State Youth Congress, later became the General Secretary under P. Sudhir Kumar in 1989. I was the Head of Youth Congress Vigilance Committee under P. Sudhakar Reddy in 1999.

I was the member of Organizing Committee at 79th Congress Plenary session at Tirupathi in 1992 and Member of Organizing Committee for the Steel Plant Inauguration by the Late Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao at Visakhapatnam in 1993.

I am the Founder President of United Youth Organisation (UYO). Under the UYO we fought against single digit lotteries in the State which were ruining the lives of the poor. In 1995, I started a campaign for the Kidney patients transplantation, when the Govt. of India stopped Kidney Transplantation due to some Kidney Sales Scam in Bangalore City, as I could not see the patients dying in the state I along with the Kidney patients and their relatives took a hunger strike for 10 days. Agreeing to our demand the then N.T. Rama Rao Government has constituted a Committee for the patients unrelated Kidney Donors Transplantation and we could save hundreds of lives.

In 1996, I started the agitation against prohibition on Indian made foreign liquor (IMFL). The N.T. Rama Rao Govt. which came into power in 1995 had suddenly imposed Prohibition on IMFL forcing all the Bars, Retail outlets and Breweries to close. This has rendered about 6 lakhs employees jobless and within days these employees started committing suicide and moreover the unemployed youth were forcing themselves to boot legging and many of them being caught and sent to Jails. The State exchequer was going to the neighbouring states as people were going for the booze there. All these factors made me step in and I took many agitational programs. I even contested the Lok Sabha election from Secunderabad Constituency in 1996 with a single point agenda of lifting of Prohibition on IMFL. I exposed the Govts. inability to impose Prohibition through my columns in the news papers.

I am also a Cricket Player. I have played at the State level and also playing for County Cricket Championships in London.

I worked as Editor for Academic Life, A weekly Educational Magazine. I am the founder President of TRY FOUNDATION (Traffic Rules and you ).

What I realized in life is you don’t have to be an elected leader or a political nominated person to serve the cause of the people all that you need is the zeal to work for the betterment of the society.
